Job Description:
TIO Tours & Travel is seeking a full-time Travel Consultant to join our team in Kampala. As a Travel Consultant, you will play a crucial role in organizing travel arrangements, managing itineraries, providing exceptional customer service, making reservations, and offering expert travel advice to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Handle travel arrangements for clients, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Manage travel itineraries and ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Make reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and other travel-related services.
- Offer personalized travel consulting services to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
- Multitask effectively to handle multiple client requests and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure seamless travel experiences.
- Stay informed about travel industry trends, destinations, and visa application processes.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in travel consulting, travel management, and travel arrangements.
- Strong customer service and reservations skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Knowledge of travel industry trends and popular destinations.
- Experience in visa application processes.
- Previous experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
