Scope of Work:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new revenue streams, seeking out business opportunities, and implementing growth strategies. They will work closely with the Country General Manager to achieve revenue targets, execute growth initiatives, and forge partnerships.
Purpose of Role:
The role involves researching market opportunities, developing growth strategies, and leading key projects to enhance business profitability and sustainability. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and promote collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth strategies leveraging analytics and data optimization.
- Conduct market research to identify key sales drivers and validate growth opportunities.
- Lead product and services development and expansion of growth opportunities.
- Oversee customer-led revenue growth and retention programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and build strong partnerships with key industry influencers and service providers.
- Manage third-party relationships and performance.
- Lead and manage large teams across multiple projects or business units.
Minimum Requirements & Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, marketing, or relevant field.
- At least seven years of experience in sales, supply chain management, distribution, or retail, with five years at a senior leadership level.
- Strong understanding of commercial and strategy with experience in sales forecasting, pricing, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate projections and scenarios effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong people management and organizational skills.
