Job Description

The Human Capital Assistant will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Capital department.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (banking details, leaves, etc.).
  • Coordinate communication with candidates scheduled for interviews.
  • Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees.
  • File documents and answer client and employee inquiries.
  • Write employee communications and correspondence about updates in HR policies.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years as an HR Assistant, or in a relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws.
