Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not-for-profit organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related healthcare services, and training of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices. It was established in 1979 as a joint venture between the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB) and the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB).
Job Summary: The Graduate Trainee will have the opportunity to develop their general knowledge, skills and attitude towards work and therefore enhance theiremployability.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should have completed studies not more than twenty four months ago (i.e. from the date of this advertisement) with a Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, Logistics or Business Administration or Nursing.
- Be ready to be available during JMS working hours on a full time basis and must be ready to be deployed in a pharmaceutical warehouse operational environment for the duration of the attachment.
NB: The successful applicant will not be a regular employee of JMS but will be paid a stipend for upkeep during the period of training.
