Job Title: Computer Engineer.

Salary Ratio : (650,000 – 850,000)/- Ugx ( Can Be Increased in case of impressive work done.)

Laboremus Uganda Jobs: Laboremus Uganda has a large team of full time developers, in addition to project managers, business development advisers and administration staff. The team in Uganda works closely together with the teams of our partners in Norway and Serbia.

The team structure makes it possible for team members to have a close relationship with their immediate leader, and it improves communication between team members and management. On each project, team members take roles as technical lead, developer, quality analyst, project manager and business development advisor. Laboremus has a strong focus on capacity building and exposure of employees through workshops, trainings in Norway and attendance of technical events.

Job description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing , various computer systems and application as assigned
  • Will be providing code debugging and improvement support to the team members and our clients abroad
  • He/she will be responsible for coming up with new innovative ideas ( earns extra pay )
  • He/she must be able to code in all web programming languages and additionally desktop development and android as an added advantage .
  • He/she is to maintain some of our current operating systems and suggest or perform changes.
  • Create and Implement Computer Systems For clients ( Special Duties )
  • Trouble Shoot Computer Networks and Systems For Clients as assigned by the Head Developer
  • Come up With ideas for clients to appraise in their current systems
  • Provide Technical Support to the Assigned Client
  • Maintain All Hardware of Assigned Client and Company Hardware and Networks

Qualifications

-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (Prefered mostly) / Bachelor in software Engineering / Bachelor in Information Technology
-The Applicant Must be versed with web programming concepts( HTML, JAVASCRIPT etc)
-The Applicant Must be able to work under minimum pressure
-The Applicant age must range 19 – 25 ( Compulsory ) not personal
-The Applicant Must have good analytical skills and able to work independently or as a team.
-The Applicant Must Be able to troubleshoot problems as assigned by the team leader .
