Job Title: Graphics Designer Intern
Organization: UNDP Uganda
Location: Kampala Duration: 6 months
Roles and responsibilities:
- Graphic design for all types of communication materials
- Layout design and typesetting for printed and electronic publications
- Video graphics and animation design
- Artwork editing of photos and other graphic elements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants to the UNDP internship program must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree program (such as a master’s program, or higher) in Industrial Art, Graphics Design or a professional course on graphics design.
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (such as a bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, Electrical engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics.
- Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
