Job Title: Graduate Intern (Communications)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support documentation of Living Goods’ work in Uganda by writing compelling stories and capturing pictures and phone videos to be packaged into success stories, blog posts, and social media content for external communications.
  • Support the creation and posting of content on Living Goods’ social media platforms (mainly Twitter, LinkedIn, and Meta-Facebook) to amplify both Living Goods’ and the government’s work in community health.
  • Support the planning and execution of events, conferences, and meetings hosted by Living Goods and external stakeholders, including supporting logistics and branding.
  • Coordinate the development of collaterals, promotional materials (including banners and teardrops), and swag.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal and external e-newsletters to ensure our key audiences are constantly updated about our work— to drive interest in and funding for community health.
  • Act as a liaison/coordinator between Partnerships, Advocacy, and Communications (PAC) and other departments of Living Goods.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in communications or any related field.
  • Experience in writing and photography is an added advantage.
  • Experience in branding – coordinating the creation of branding materials is an added advantage
  • A strong design sense and skills using Canva.
  • Familiarity with social media channels and content creation.
