Job Title: 10 Credit Assistants – Agriculture Lending
Organization: Finance Trust Bank
Duty Station: Kampala
Key responsibilities:
- Mobilization and sensitization of customers about banks’ credit products and other services.
- Conducting loan appraisals exercise in line to the established Bank policies procedures
- Presenting loan project proposals to the loan committee for making decision and give feedback to applicant.
- Disbursing the approved loans according to the terms and conditions spelt out in the lending policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and evaluation of loan performance in line with disbursement terms and conditions.
- Portfolio quality must be maintained for PAR 1 at 8% and below ,30days at 5 % and NPA at below 3%
- Initiation of recovery actions for loans in default in line with loan policy, guideline and procedures.
- Train other bank staff (credit officers), effective principles of lending especially agricbased enterprises
- Attend to other duties assigned in lines to policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Diploma / Degree in any agriculture-related discipline.
• Must not have spent not more than 5 years since completing school.
• Must have critical thinking, analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a professional manner
• Ability to build functioning working relationship with other (Team Player).
• Ability to demonstrate positive image and up hold FTB values.
• Must be a person of good integrity record.
• Must demonstrate flexibility /willingness to learn
