Job Summary:

As a Social Media & Communications Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our target audience. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing social media strategies, creating compelling content, and maximizing user acquisition through effective communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, upload, and maintain content across all social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy tailored to the startup environment, focusing on rapid growth and audience engagement.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure social media success.
  • Create engaging and shareable content for various platforms, aligning with brand and messaging goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and updates for content creation.
  • Establish and nurture an active online community around the brand.
  • Build relationships with influencers and thought leaders in the Fintech and startup space.
  • Plan and execute creative social media campaigns to support product launches and promotions.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies for optimal results.
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels.
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance metrics and generate reports.
  • Develop marketing materials such as e-flyers, catalogues, and calendars.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to keep social media strategy effective.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in a startup or Fintech environment.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media communities and driving user engagement.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling content.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
