About the Role:
As a Data Products Assistant at Pollicy, you will work under the guidance of the Data Products Lead to contribute to the development and enhancement of impactful data products that address real-world challenges. This role requires collaboration with a dynamic team to analyze data, extract insights, and contribute to the creation of innovative solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Data Products Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Data Products Lead to identify, assess, and implement new innovative data products and tools.
  • Conducting data analysis to derive valuable insights, trends, and patterns to inform decision-making.
  • Supporting ongoing projects that require data support and contributing to consultancies or in-house projects.
  • Coordinating community meetups, workshops, and events related to data and analytics.
  • Organizing and conducting training sessions to help enhance data skills within the community.
  • Representing Pollicy at events, conferences, and seminars to share insights and expertise in the field of data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Strong technical skills such as Deep Learning, NLP, Information Retrieval, Geospatial Analysis, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to share knowledge with others.
