JOB DETAILS:
Kaabong District Service Commission is seeking applications from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the position of Road Inspector on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect roads within Kaabong District to ensure compliance with construction standards and specifications.
  • Monitor road construction and maintenance projects to ensure adherence to approved plans and budgets.
  • Identify defects and deficiencies in road infrastructure and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Conduct surveys and assessments to evaluate road conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address road-related issues and concerns.
  • Prepare reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for road improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in road construction, inspection, or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of road construction standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
