Position: Stores Officer – Kampala
Reporting To: Stores Manager
Key Result Areas:
- Making Goods Receipt Notes for local purchases.
- Contributing to the optimization of stockholdings by planning and coordinating activities for controlled stock management.
- Controlling store operations by ensuring correct handling, receiving, recording, locating, and issuing of materials according to standard operating procedures.
- Planning and forecasting stock requirements in liaison with line departments.
- Receiving and inspecting delivery documents and goods.
- Verifying quantities of goods received and issued.
- Preparing requisitions for stock replenishments.
- Identifying and disposing of obsolete stock.
- Generating reports on stock value and quantity.
- Overseeing daily stock counting and reconciliation.
- Entering inventory into the database on a daily basis.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Stores Manager.

Educational Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

- Professional personal presentation.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day
