Age: 23 -45 Years
Duration: 6 Months renewable
Reports To: Registration Officer
Duty Station: Arua and Adjumani.
About the Project:
OPM Uganda Jobs 2019: Applications are invited from qualified Ugandan Nationals to fill the under listed vacant positions available at Arua Refugee Desk, Adjumani Refugee Desk, Hoima Refugee Desk, Mbarara Refugee Desk and Kampala Refugees Department Head Office.
Roles and responsibilities
- Registers new arrivals, asylum seekers, family reunion cases and prima-facie case.
- Enter and update births and deaths registration Keep an updated register of refugees and asylum seekers in the settlement camp
- Assist the registration Officer in compiling, updating and sharing the food log.
- Handle other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Applicant should be a holder of an Honours Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Social Sciences or Economics or Statistics but with computer knowledge. Knowledge of Refugee Information Management Systems (RIMS) database is an added advantage.
