The Mukwano Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal care products and plastics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To ensure all finished products are loaded and delivered to the customers in time and good condition
- Tally up goods loaded and reconcile with loading order
- Check that goods loaded on trucks comply with customer specifications
- Carry tally sheets to Sales Office for invoicing
- Supervise, monitor and guide Loading Assistants
- Sign off the goods dispatched note
- Any other duties assigned by the Dispatch Manager
Qualifications
- Hold an Ordinary Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management, Accounting, Procurement, and supply chain management, or Business Administration. Required
- With at least two years of relevant work experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion
- Effective Verbal and written communication
- Customer service orientation skills
- Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence
- Dealing with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instructions
- Decision-making skills is required.
