Job Title: Personal Bankers
Organization: I&M Bank Uganda
Duty Station: Kampala & Arua
Roles and Responsibilities
Inbound NTB/ETB sales
- Address walk-in NTB Clients (any segment) sales needs, pull generated from catchment campaigns and word of mouth.
- Activate NTB clients, and set up and educate clients on remote channel usage i.e. Internet banking, Fast pay, contact center, ATM.
Listen, explain &sell
- Understand needs
- Explain respective banking proposition that fits their ongoing need.
Deep sell
- Immediately broaden the conversation to include all products.
Prepare, set up & activate
- When required documents are available
- Conduct KYC
- Open account/activate products
- Tag clients to the right segment.
Service
- Fulfil basic service needs and pass on rest to CSO.
Deepening activities
- Listen, explain& sell.
- Understand the needs of the clients
- Explain proposition that fits need( respond to client need and do next best conversation)
- Refer for specialized needs
- Pre-identified employees from employers targeted by WPB
- Employees (no pre-identification) from employers targeted by WPB.
- Reaching out pro-actively for lower value businesses.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree preferably from a recognized university.
- A postgraduate degree or a professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years experience in sales.
- In-depth knowledge of the banking industry.
- Knowledge of banking products
- Understanding KYC
- Knowledge of Credit and Marketing
- Interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
