Job Title: Data Analytics Officer

Organization: Uganda Airlines

Duty Station: Kampala

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and develop Corporate data warehouse, data models, and data marts based on corporate reporting needs
Work with 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders to identify, design, and develop data integration solutions to ensure that there is seamless and automated data exchange between different applications used in the company
Develop and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) required to improve the application integration environment
Work with 3rd party vendors and System administrators to troubleshoot and resolve data integration and reporting incidents in production environments
Develop and maintain corporate data governance, data security, and data protection standards
Document and continuously keep up-to-date enterprise-wide data integration designs

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related degree
Training and certification in data science, data analytics, and/or statistical analysis
Certification in data analytics tools
A minimum of 3 years experience in developing BI and analytics solutions such as Oracle OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, etc
Experience in working with Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
Experience in Oracle and Microsoft database architecture
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle process
Interests in Statistics, data analytics, data warehouse, and applications integrations.
Good troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
Effective liaison skills and the ability to work with a wide range of professionals in various disciplines.
