Norvik Enterprises Limited is seeking Medical Representatives responsible for sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products at the Kampala Head Office. The ideal candidate should be vibrant, flexible, competitive, and trustworthy to help us build up our business activities. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating awareness and marketing pharmaceutical products to hospitals, pharmacies, and health institutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Sales and marketing of products by discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential pharmacies, doctors, and other outlets.
  • Reviewing sales performance and working towards monthly or annual targets.
  • Adjusting the content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submitting orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conducting CMES, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

  • Academic qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy or any medical-related course.
  • A Minimum of 2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical marketing field.
  • Persuasive, Hardworking, Quick decision-making, and Familiar with the region/market.
  • Good knowledge and marketing experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and marketing fields.
  • Analytical and strategizing abilities, a team builder, and with good networking ability.
  • Candidate should have good communication, presentation skills, and analytical skills.
