Position Title: ICT Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
- Monitor network performance and ensure security measures are in place to protect data and systems.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operation of IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and recommend solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or enhancements.
- Train staff on proper use of IT systems and software applications.
- Manage IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
Qualifications:
- BSc. Information Communication Technology
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are a plus.
