Position Title: ICT Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
  3. Monitor network performance and ensure security measures are in place to protect data and systems.
  4. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operation of IT infrastructure.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and recommend solutions.
  6. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or enhancements.
  7. Train staff on proper use of IT systems and software applications.
  8. Manage IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  9. Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  10. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Qualifications:

  1. BSc. Information Communication Technology
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  4. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  5. Familiarity with IT security best practices and protocols.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are a plus.
