JOB DETAILS:
Quality Plastics (U) LTD is seeking to hire 2 self-driven and innovative Sacmi Operators who will play a crucial role in the setup, control, and adjustment of machinery to ensure efficient production cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery when required, ensuring conformance to system requirements.
  • Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to start production cycles efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Follow work instructions in the Job Sheet meticulously to avoid errors.
  • Ensure the satisfactory production of finished products in terms of quality and quantity, maintaining a hygienic production environment.
  • Conduct periodic checks on equipment, troubleshooting problems as they arise to ensure the process delivers intended results.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure equipment is in proper working order and condition.
  • Maintain hygiene standards by prohibiting food consumption in production and storage areas to prevent material/product contamination.
  • Consistently monitor product quality to confirm accuracy, meeting customer specifications.
  • Fill out daily report forms with accurate information.
  • Report any maintenance requirements to supervisors and assist the maintenance team in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) if needed.
  • Report on system performance and recommend improvement opportunities to supervisors.
  • Minimize production wastage during product realization and transfer.
  • Report any machine problems or breakdowns to supervisors promptly and follow up with maintenance requests.
  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Sacmi Machine Operator – Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electricity, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Sacmi Machines and Compression Molding Machines.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting skills in case of breakdowns.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A positive and supportive team player attitude.
