Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd is a leading manufacturing company in Uganda. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Helpers for our Recycling Plant located in Mbuya, Kampala.
Job Details:
Key Result Areas:
The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor and will be responsible for:
- Preventive maintenance of production machines.
- Efficient operation of production machines in the absence or guidance of a machine operator.
- Controlling wastage of materials.
- Adhering to housekeeping guidelines and health and safety practices.
- Assisting in loading raw materials into the machines.
- Overseeing housekeeping around the machine area.
- Ensuring the quality of products produced.
- Detecting and reporting any faults to the Machine Operator.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Machine Operator.
- May be required to work for long hours and under challenging conditions such as exposure to high temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise levels.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a focus on sciences.
- At least one year of relevant working experience in a manufacturing company.

- Customer care skills.
- Positive attitude and self-driven.
