Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd is a leading manufacturing company in Uganda. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Helpers for our Recycling Plant located in Mbuya, Kampala.

Job Details:

Key Result Areas:
The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor and will be responsible for:

  • Preventive maintenance of production machines.
  • Efficient operation of production machines in the absence or guidance of a machine operator.
  • Controlling wastage of materials.
  • Adhering to housekeeping guidelines and health and safety practices.
  • Assisting in loading raw materials into the machines.
  • Overseeing housekeeping around the machine area.
  • Ensuring the quality of products produced.
  • Detecting and reporting any faults to the Machine Operator.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Machine Operator.
  • May be required to work for long hours and under challenging conditions such as exposure to high temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise levels.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

  • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a focus on sciences.
  • At least one year of relevant working experience in a manufacturing company.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Customer care skills.
  • Positive attitude and self-driven.
