About KCCA:
Kampala Capital City Authority is the legal entity established by the Ugandan Parliament, responsible for the operations of the capital city of Kampala in Uganda. It replaced the Kampala City Council.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following duties:-
- Carrying out regular inspection of drainage construction sites.
- Preparing payment certificates for drainage construction in the agreed format.
- Maintaining appropriate drainage construction records and files.
- Participating in the preparation of the procurement plans and specifications of the drainage construction in accordance with the PDU guidelines.
- Participating in the drainage construction works as per the set work plan.
- Preparing drainage construction progress reports to management in the agreed format.
- Supervising the drainage construction team and ensures that proper construction specifications are followed.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in either Civil Engineering; or Construction Management from a recognized University/Institution.
- Possession of a Post Graduate qualification in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from a relevant Institution will be an added advantage.
- Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in construction works from a reputable organization.
- Age: 25 years and above.
