Job Summary: As a Female Driver at Plan International, your role involves driving PIU (Plan International Uganda) vehicles in accordance with transport policies and procedures. Your primary objective is to enhance staff mobility for efficiency and effectiveness. You will provide transport services for staff and visitors, anticipate hazards, and attend to travelers’ needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the provision of transport services that support PIU staff in a safe, healthy, secure, and environmentally sensitive manner.
- Observing and adhering to safety precautions before and during driving, considering prevailing weather and road conditions to prevent accidents.
- Driving vehicles carefully and safely, following Uganda’s traffic laws, PIU policies, and fleet management procedures.
- Prioritizing passengers’ physical well-being, providing comfort breaks, and offering assistance as needed while treating passengers courteously.
