Position: Junior Project Engineer (4 Positions Available)

Location: Kampala, Uganda
Reporting To: Project Engineer
EnviroServ Uganda Ltd., a leader in providing comprehensive waste management and environmental solutions, is seeking to recruit four Junior Project Engineers. This role is crucial in delivering technically sound engineering solutions within the constraints of time and budget, ensuring the effective design, procurement, quality, construction, and commissioning of projects.
Job Purpose:
The Junior Project Engineer will be instrumental in creating and coordinating new initiatives, managing existing projects, and overseeing the international rollout of projects. This role encompasses project management, stakeholder management, and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering projects within time and budget constraints.
- Implement cost-effective, conceptual, and detailed designs.
- Generate scope of work, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with operational, legal health, and safety requirements.
- Manage and administer projects, ensuring adherence to operating, safety, and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and implement project efficiencies.
- Manage stakeholders and provide reports on project statuses, designs, commissioning, and progress.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of related work experience in civil, water and sanitation, electrical, or process engineering.
- Valid Class B permit.
- Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of safety, health, quality, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform research and development.
