Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Medical Officer to provide expert support to our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a medical or clinical setting and be passionate about offering guidance on various medical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Review medical records and reports to assess patients’ health status and treatment options.
- Establish and maintain accurate patient health records.
- Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and provide follow-up care.
- Educate patients on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Act as the primary healthcare provider for assigned patients.
- Contribute to business development and strategic planning initiatives.
- Participate in regular staff meetings.
- Support clinical and administrative functions as needed.
- Attend medical conferences, trainings, and meetings to stay updated on industry developments.
- Assist in patient referrals and follow-up procedures.
- Prepare and update patient charts, reports, and records accurately.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university.
- Registered with the Uganda Medical & Dental Practitioners Council with a valid annual practicing license.
- 2 years of experience in a busy environment.
