Purpose of the Position:
The Project Officer shall be responsible for implementing initiatives to boost income generation, job creation, and access to green jobs by members of vulnerable households.
Responsibilities of the Project Officer:
- Coordinate income generation initiatives.
- Coordinate green skilling and job creation.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of CMSG and green skills participants.
Personal Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, rural development, or vocational education.
- 3 years of work experience in implementing Climate-smart agriculture, village savings and loans groups, savings and credit organizations, microfinance, and vocational skilling.
- Fluency in Luganda and English.
- Good knowledge of government community development programs.
- Basic monitoring and evaluation skills.
- Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills are a must.
