Job Summary:
Roles and responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate at least one training for the underwriters and agents per quarter
- Conduct at least one risk survey inspection per week
- Maintain Engineering and fire gross loss ratio as per company standards
- visiting sites alone or with underwriters or intermediaries
- assessing and evaluating risk to buildings, employees or customers by undertaking appropriate research
- carrying out detailed site surveys
- writing and explaining reports to underwriters and intermediaries
- providing advice to clients and making recommendations about required risk improvements
- assigning quality grades after improvements have been made
- liaising with health and safety inspectors, clients, insurance brokers and underwriters
- collecting photographs as evidence
- maintaining awareness of changes in legislation and trading processes
- providing the underwriting team with loss estimates (Probable Maximum Loss / Estimated Maximum Loss)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (B), Bachelors Degree (B): Civil Engineering (Required), Bachelors Degree (B): Mechanical Engineering (Required)
