Job Title: Industrial Nurse

Job Location: Mbarara plant
Roles and responsibilities:

- Give out first aid to employees
- Refer employees who need medical attention beyond first aid.
- Advise Employees based on medical concerns.
- Monitor and do follow-ups on employees with chronic conditions
- Pre-entry and exit medical checks
- Lead – Oxide checkup for services Technicians and Drug substance checkup for heavy commercial drivers
- Any other medical test as required by KORE and legal
- Take part in carrying out and reviewing Health risk assessment
- Ensure good housekeeping of the first aid facilities and proper handling of medical waste.
- Compile daily and share medical reports from internal and external Medical checks.
- Ensure Employee Individual medical results are filed and safely kept
- Interpret employee medical results and advise the business
- Carryout basic first aid training and awareness to employees
- Attend health and safety meeting
Minimum qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Nursing, Comprehensive Nursing, Enrolled Comprehensive
- Certificate of enrolment as a nurse in The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
- Minimum of two years relevant experience in FMCGs as an Industrial nurse
