Job Summary:

The Credit Administration Officer will be responsible for overseeing credit monitoring, reporting activities, and the preparation of various credit reports in accordance with the credit policy and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review the daily disbursement report to confirm the correct charging of processing fees, stamp duty, insurance, and interest rates in line with the credit policy.
  • Maintain a diary to track all insider credit facilities, ensuring monthly reporting in accordance with credit policy.
  • Prepare the EXCO and Key Risk Instruments (KRI) reports following set guidelines.
  • Post accounts approved for write-off as per the guidelines.
  • Analyze demand for credit facilities by sector and prepare an analysis report.
  • Verify all Management Information System (MIS) related issues raised by branches, analyze, recommend remedial action, seek management approval, and coordinate resolution in line with the credit policy.
  • Prepare accurate Loan-to-Value reports as per BOU format and Quarterly Monitoring Reports according to the credit policy.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in a banking credit role is preferred.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Integrity, good leadership skills, and an understanding of the credit business.
  • Age: Below 40 years.
