Job Summary:
As a Loans Officer at Platinum Credit Uganda Limited, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and approving loans within set limits. You will review applicants’ financial status, credit history, and collateral to assess the feasibility of granting loans. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong selling skills, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet with applicants to gather information for loan applications and address any inquiries about the process.
- Develop prospects from current customers, referral leads, or sales and trade meetings to identify potential clients.
- Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit risk, and collateral to determine the viability of loan approvals.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have delinquent loans.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong selling skills and ability to persuade.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum age of 23 years old and maximum of 30 years old.
