Job Summary:
Asaak Financial Services is on a mission to unlock the economic potential of marginalized small and medium business owners through fintech innovation. We are currently seeking three experienced, talented, and enthusiastic Recovery Officers to enforce the repayment of non-performing loans and manage the impounding of vehicles from defaulting clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Asaak’s clients to encourage loan repayment.
- Monitor loan payments and ensure that targets on bad debt recoveries are met.
- Utilize tracking devices in clients’ motorbikes for monitoring purposes and report any suspicious behavior.
- Impound vehicles from clients who default on their loans.
- Conduct field visits for recoveries and ensure compliance.
- Manage assigned loan portfolio and take necessary actions to recover delinquent loans.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Specifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in microfinance or any related field.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and the capacity to function well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid Class A riding license.
Job Experience:
- No specific requirement mentioned, but relevant experience in loan recovery, finance, or similar roles will be an advantage.
Work Hours:
- 8 hours per day.
Level of Education:
- Bachelor Degree in microfinance or related fields.
