Job Summary:

The Sales Officer will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring effective product distribution within the assigned territory. This role involves close collaboration with Customer Partners (CPs) and requires proactive engagement in various sales and marketing activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning: Schedule and prepare for secondary market orders and ensure timely delivery advisories.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Enhance product visibility in retail outlets, guide merchandisers, and optimize sales initiatives.
  • Logistics Coordination: Monitor stock levels, advise on logistics, and assist in order booking to meet CP targets.
  • Distribution Management: Ensure efficient use of company distribution vehicles and optimize route sales trucks for maximum market coverage.
  • Market Analysis: Provide daily price analyses, monitor customer balances, and manage invoice clearances.
  • Promotional Activities: Engage in sales promotions, trade fairs, and develop new accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Reporting: Regularly submit performance reports, market intelligence, and status updates on sales and marketing efforts.
  • Other Duties: As assigned by the Regional Sales Manager or other Head Office Sales staff.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration (Marketing option), or a related field.
  • Experience: At least three years of relevant sales experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Independent work ethic and effective decision-making skills.
    • Customer service orientation and professional personal presentation.
    • Competency in managing multiple tasks and adherence to established practices and procedures.
