Position: Head of Technology
Summary of Role: As the Head of Technology, you will lead the design and implementation of the company’s digital strategy to meet business needs and deliver return on investment. You will manage the Technology and Digital Solutions team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop digital products. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with IT regulations and manage IT expenditure efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT services with business goals.
- Lead the design, delivery, and enhancement of high-quality IT services and software solutions.
- Manage the Technology and Digital Solutions team, providing mentorship and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Negotiate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies with internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to identify and mitigate delivery risks.
- Define solutions architecture for digital products.
- Manage IT expenditure and resource optimization.

Technical Skills:
- Understanding of CI-CD process, containerization, and virtualization technologies
- Proficiency in at least 2 modern programming languages/frameworks (1 B/E and 1 F/E)
- Knowledge of SQL and common database technologies
- Infrastructure knowledge including RESTful APIs, Single Sign-On, LDAP, and Search Technologies
- Experience with pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture
- Experience with API design and governance processes
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments and hybrid cloud architecture
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or relevant area
- At least 8 years’ experience leading business software solutions in an enterprise environment
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a technology role
