About the Position: FHI 360 is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to provide critical administrative and technical support to the Human Resources (HR) team. This position involves executing HR administrative processes, supporting HR functions, and interacting extensively with employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for HR functions such as record-keeping, internal and external communications, and team administration.
  • Offer technical support for tasks including interview scheduling, payroll administration, data tracking, and routine immigration administrative issues.
  • Follow HR procedures to ensure clarity and efficiency in function activities and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a back-up contact for employees with HR-related inquiries and respond to Employee Service Center requests.
  • Maintain timely and legal filing of personnel records, benefits, and immigration documentation.
  • Assist with coordination of employee program activities, communications, and events.
  • Help prepare HR reports and contribute to improvements in HR processes and procedures.
  • Support employee relations activities and maintain positive employer-employee relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School/GED Diploma or its International Equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of experience providing administrative support in an office setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and HRIS/Payroll systems.
  • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is desirable.

Physical Demands and Technology Used:

  • Typical office environment with long hours spent looking at computer screens and doing repetitive work.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.
  • Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications, cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment.
