Overall purpose of the job: To support the Mechanical section in its activities while on training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various tasks within the Mechanical section.
  • Learn and apply mechanical engineering principles under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Participate in project planning and execution.
  • Contribute to the development of solutions for mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its Equivalent from a recognized Institution.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for constant interactions with employees, management, and stakeholders.
  • MS Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating engaging materials, reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and interpret raw information and data, document findings, and make recommendations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must demonstrate helpfulness, calmness, and professionalism, particularly during times of uncertainty.
  • People Skills: Ability to earn the trust and respect of departmental heads and management.
