Job Title: RESERVOIR ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Reservoir Engineer, your primary responsibility is to conduct reservoir engineering-related activities, including reserves estimation and production forecasting for fields with production licenses. You will ensure that these fields are economically developed to optimize recovery and maximize production.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Honors Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences.

ADDED ADVANTAGE:

  • Advanced degree or certifications in reservoir engineering or related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in estimating and reviewing petroleum reserves and production profiles, including production strategies for fields with production licenses.
  • Review field development plans and petroleum reservoir reports, including dynamic models submitted by licensees.
  • Review reservoir management proposals and methods to improve oil recovery submitted by licensees.
  • Conduct dynamic and other reservoir engineering data acquisition, quality checking, analysis, and synthesis for fields with production licenses.
  • Review work programs and budgets related to reservoir engineering activities and follow up on their implementation.
  • Monitor field activities during the development and production phases.
  • Participate in technical reservoir engineering research related to development and production activities.
  • Undertake any other assignments as directed.
