Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager oversees the warehousing function of the OpCo, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective warehousing and internal distribution processes to support the OpCo’s production and delivery of products to customers within agreed standards and time frames. This role involves providing leadership and operational direction to warehouse personnel and supervising warehouse, storage, control, and distribution of goods.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and document policies, processes, and procedures for safe and legally compliant warehousing and logistics operations.
- Manage efficient and cost-effective storage and movement of materials and products within the warehouse and throughout the production system.
- Analyze and report on the performance, capacity, and volume of warehousing activities for short- and long-term strategic planning.
- Ensure receipt of deliveries according to company procedures, oversee inventory accuracy, and resolve complex issues arising from variances.
- Work closely with other functions to ensure adequate inventory and storage to meet customer demands.
- Provide leadership to warehouse personnel, set objectives, review performance, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Maximize delivery efficiency and pickup/delivery performance, reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to identify areas of improvement.
- Continuously review methods, techniques, and procedures to initiate changes for effective supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal licensing requirements, quality, and food safety regulations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in warehouse management or a related field
