Job Summary: The Warehouse Controller at DHL will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, supervising, and managing stocks and other warehouse activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately receive stock/crates both into the warehouse and on-site where applicable.
  2. Track and continuously improve the productivity of forklift operators, warehouse personnel, and loaders.
  3. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of transactions to meet client demands.
  4. Manage First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system in the warehouse, eliminating the risk of stock expiry.
  5. Conduct full accounting of stocks at the end of each shift around operations.
  6. Count all stock in the location at the start and end of each shift, recording results accurately on count sheets.
  7. Participate in customer, regulatory, and internal operational audits as required, implementing agreed action plans.
  8. Manage the resources required for running a shift, ensuring readiness for timely shift starts.
  9. Properly manage stocks to prevent damage and loss to the company.
  10. Accurately record stock transactions and generate reports at the end of each shift.
  11. Manage shift productivity and achieve shift Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  12. Immediately report accidents and incidents on a shift to the supervisor or manager.
  13. Supervise the use of infrastructure and inspect working conditions to meet required standards.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Hold a Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, or any related science course.
  • Two to three years of warehouse/logistics experience in various departments.
  • Certificate/diploma in Inventory Management.
  • Professional certificate in logistics.
