Job Title: FAC Administrative Clerk

The Embassy encompasses various offices and organizations working under its auspices and the direction of the Ambassador. Among these offices are the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and Peace Corps.

Job Summary: The FAC Administrative Clerk, situated within the Facility Management Office, directly reports to the Senior/Deputy Facility Manager. The role involves providing clerical and secretarial support to the facility management team, including the Senior Facility Manager, Deputy and Assistant Facility Managers, and designated Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Supervisors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the daily work schedule and planning activities of the Facility Manager.
  • Providing administrative/clerical support to facility management personnel.
  • Drafting memos, typing correspondence, and maintaining files, records, and reports.
  • Translating official documents and providing support to TDY personnel.
  • Tracking and monitoring building maintenance expenses and contractor invoices.
  • Serving as the primary timekeeper for the Facility Management Section.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • At least two years of experience in an administrative/clerical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and general computer literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational and professional telephone skills.
  • Language: English level III (Good working knowledge) Written/Speaking/Reading is required.
