The National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) is now accepting applications from individuals interested in various positions in preparation for the upcoming mass registration exercise for National Identity Cards, scheduled to commence on June 1.

NIRA Executive Director, Rosemary Kisembo, announced yesterday during the weekly police press briefing at police headquarters in Naguru, Kampala, that interested applicants can now submit their personal details through the NIRA website.

About NIRA: NIRA’s mandate is to establish, manage, maintain, and operationalize the National Identification Register.
